Children and Families
Do I need to book tickets for children?
Admission to the Musée du Louvre and the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix is free for children. However, a visitor eligible for reduced-rate admission must make a free reservation on-site or online, then presentvalid proof of eligibility(must include name and photograph) at the ticket checkpoint.
Do you offer activities for children?
The museum organises a range of activities around the year for children to learn all about the Louvre: workshops, guided tours, storytelling sessions and free activities in the Studio to name but a few!
What are your tips for a family visit?
Travel light or store your belongings in our lockers; borrow a pushchair or baby carrier for small children from the visitor assistance area before your visit; use one of the folding chairs made available to you in the rooms. During your visit, you can also take a creative break at the Studio, where games, books and activities are readily available.
