Exhibition “Raffaello: Opera Omnia” Opened

Last night marked the opening of the exhibition “Raffaello: Opera Omnia”, which also inaugurated the beginning of the “Week of the Italian Language in the World.”
In accordance with the protocol established for visiting museums and holding indoor events, the opening was held as a closed event with a strictly limited number of guests.

At the opening, the Director of the Archaeological Museum, Ms. Slavica Babamova, and the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Andrea Silvestri, addressed the audience.

The event was also honored by the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Zoran Zaev, who sent a written address to those present.

For the realization of this exhibition, special gratitude is owed to Mirko Merletti from RaiCom, as well as to the expert team of the Archaeological Museum: Irena Kolištrkóska Nasteva, curator of the exhibition; Marjan Jaglikovski, outstanding connoisseur of Renaissance art; Martin Gievski, Elena Rafajlovska, Iva Laban, Marija Kolevska Dimiškovska, Stevan Ilijević, Ivančo Velkov, Branislav Atanasovski, Marina Spirova, Natalija Danailova, Lidija Ilkovska–Janusheva, Ivica Stojanović, and Redžep Bećirovski.

Within its strategy of paying special attention to the education of all age groups and the inclusiveness of the museum, and in full alignment with the commitments of the Embassy of Italy in Skopje, a series of educational workshops and lectures will be organized for visits to this exhibition. Schools of all levels in the Republic of North Macedonia—primary, secondary, and higher—have already been invited.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until December 20, 2021. Admission is free.
